Trust me, I've been through all that time and time again. I thought he was the one, or she was my bestie. And now. They're both out of my life. It was extremely difficult. I cried myself to sleep weeks after. I know, I know- sounds a bit wimpy but hey- I was never one for making friends.
But the funny thing is.
Now I'm glad it hurt. Cuz I'm way stronger than I was then. And I'm smarter. Next time some good-looking jerk comes chatting me up, I'm not gonna fall at his heels in admiration. Next time a girl tries to buddie-buddie with me but is actually bullyin gme into stuff I don't want to even touch. I'm not gonna fall for it.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm glad I was hurt so badly I didn't eat for days. I'm glad I cried until I looked horrible. I'm glad those horrible people came and left. Because now.
